HQ Raleigh collaborates on HQ Greensboro

Startup incubator HQ Raleigh is expanding its concept to the Triad in partnership with Greensboro developer Andy Zimmerman.

HQ Greensboro is expected to open May 1 in a 10,000-square-foot building in the city’s Railyard district.

HQ Raleigh, which was formed in October 2012 and provides shared workspace for more than 90 companies in downtown Raleigh’s Warehouse District, is providing consultative support for the Greensboro incubator.

HQ Raleigh companies also will have access to the shared workspace at HQ Greensboro, and vice-versa.

“This partnership will create an ideal environment to foster increased collaboration and idea collision, as well as cross-state opportunities for economic growth,” HQ Raleigh co-founder Christopher Gergen said in a prepared statement.

HQ Greensboro will have more than 20 private offices, at least three meeting and conference rooms and a full-service kitchen and bar, as well as co-working space.
